Currently the OBJ export feature creates files with 1/100th of inch as scale which isn't avaible for import in ervery programm [e.g. Autodesk Inventor] (if it must be imperial then foot, inch or tau but not 1/100th inch).
The issue is Inventor supports inch and mil (0.001 inch) as size.
Since inventor doesn't like scaling this for some reason (not an fault of the obj file, propably just autodesk issue) I used a third party tool for scaling but this didn't played well with the texture file so now it is a plain grey object in the assambly.
It would be nice if it was 1 inch or 0.001 inch scale making importing the PCB into CAD faster/simpler. Haven't checked but I expect Fusion360 suffers from the same limitation.
Hello, both our Pro and Standard versions have now changed the setting for exporting 3d files to the default 1:1. However, there is now a bug in the Standard version, so the exported file size may be wrong. I would suggest you try with the Pro version first.@joejankowiak
